GlobalPass Foundations assessment guide
Understand the 60-minute structured assessment of foundational reasoning, evidence use, communication and digital awareness.
What you will learn
- Recognise the three assessment sections.
- Use the formal-session navigation and review controls.
- Prepare without memorising protected assessment content.
Foundations measures transferable reasoning for learners preparing for advanced secondary education. The formal version contains 36 scored questions and 6 unscored field-test questions across reasoning and evidence; communication, data and AI; and judgement, culture, ethics and collaboration.
Prepare by explaining how you reached an answer, checking units and percentages, identifying missing evidence and asking neutral clarifying questions. The assessment rewards defensible reasoning rather than specialist subject recall.
Complete the device check and familiarisation form before assessment day. The server controls the timer, while each response is also saved locally during the session. Use the question navigator and flag-for-review control instead of rushing an uncertain answer.
