The role of structured competency assessment.
GlobalPass+ does not replace grades, degrees, language qualifications, work evidence or human judgement. It adds a stage-specific assessment of defined transferable competencies and a controlled record of the resulting interpretation.
| Existing evidence | What it is useful for | What GlobalPass+ adds |
|---|---|---|
| Grades and degrees | Subject learning and programme completion | Add stage-specific evidence of transferable reasoning, AI literacy, judgement and cross-cultural readiness |
| CVs and applications | Experience, claims and personal narrative | Add a versioned result that a verifier can inspect independently |
| English-language tests | Language proficiency for a defined use | Assess broader readiness; GlobalPass+ does not replace proof of language proficiency |
| Employer aptitude tests | Selection for one employer or role | Create candidate-controlled evidence designed to travel across institutions and employers |
| Personality inventories | Self-reported preferences or behavioural constructs | Measure performance on readiness tasks; no personality diagnosis or emotion recognition |
