Automated hiring

What should you ask about an AI interviewer?

An AI interviewer is software that asks questions, records answers, and sometimes scores them without a person in the room. The useful question is what decision the software is allowed to make, and what a person can still review.

A short list for any automated step

Candidates should be told that a model or recording is involved, what is stored, and how to ask for a person. Employers should be able to say which capability the step measures, why that capability matters for the role, and who can override the score. A score with no explanation and no appeal is a poor candidate experience even when the model is accurate.

Bias and privacy are not solved by calling the system an assessment. Video, voice and text can encode irrelevant traits. Retention of recordings needs a reason and a limit. GlobalPass+ does not offer an AI interviewer and does not score candidates from video.

How this differs from a GlobalPass+ sitting

A GlobalPass+ assessment is a timed set of tasks scored against a key or a stated rule, then reported as a score and competency profile. It is not an interview, and it is not an automated hiring decision. A certificate can be verified by someone who did not see the sitting.

That design has its own limits. It does not observe how someone speaks with a colleague. It should not be described as a complete picture of a candidate.

Questions

Does GlobalPass+ use an AI interviewer?

No. Sittings are timed task assessments. They are not video interviews and they do not produce an automated hire or reject decision.
