Why verified skills matter when applications are easy to produce
Verified skills are capabilities shown under stated conditions and checkable by someone who was not in the room. They matter more when a CV or a covering letter can be produced quickly and still look polished.

A document problem, not a moral claim
Easier drafting raises the volume of similar applications. Some of those applications overstate experience. Many do not. An employer cannot tell which is which from prose alone. Extra evidence is a response to that uncertainty. It is not a claim that applicants in general are committing fraud.
Identity, employment history and a skills assessment answer different questions. A certificate shows that a named assessment was completed and what score was issued. It does not, by itself, prove a job title on a CV.
What a GlobalPass+ certificate supports
A verifier can inspect the assessment, the score, the issue and expiry dates, the integrity status and the credential status. The candidate decides what to share. Publication on the GlobalPass Index is optional, limited to eligible pathways, and reversible.
The result is reusable evidence for the capability the pathway measured. It is not a promise that every employer will recognise it, and it does not expire a degree or a reference.

Does a verified assessment prove a CV is accurate?
No. It proves the assessment result. Employment history, identity and qualifications need their own checks.
